We were excited to try Anthonino's based off DDD and friends' recommendations. We made a reservation for Saturday night at 8 PM and were promptly seated. We ended up getting the Dolmathes as an appetizer. Really good and light to have. Then we ordered the lasagna and carbonara for dinner. Lasagna was good but very cheesy. Carbonara was delicious, love the salty pancetta pieces. Overall, good food and service. Nothing mind blowing but the handmade noodles definitely made the food better than other Italian restaurants.

We met some friends here before a Cardinals game. Had never been before. We had mussels for the appetizer. They were good. The entrees were better. The pesto Alfredo was fantastic. The primavera was also great. We were seated promptly to our reservation time. The server and staff were friendly and service oriented. It wasn't super busy but things moved quickly and food was great. I'd love to go back and try the pizza. Restaurant is clean and eating area was fairly quiet given the large size.

After spending a great afternoon walking around the Hill, we went to Anthonino's--upon the recommendation of a relative and other merchants on the Hill. It was outstanding! We started with some great toasted ravs. Then, onto our entrees: Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I had the 4 meat pizza. I have to say that it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten--maybe even the best (and that's saying something)! My bride had the chicken pesto pasta and it was delicious, as well. Great service, by "Chloe," as well. This was our first trip to the Hill and to Anthonino's. We will be back!!

Found this little gem and had an amazing lunch on the patio. The weather was perfect to sit outside. The toasted ravioli was so satisfying with a nice crunch on the outside and a soft filling. The sauce that pairs with it was delicious. The pizza and the pasta were good too! The people working there were very nice as well. Go give them a try!

This was by far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at and I've eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants! Everything was fantastic some of the best wine, some of the best chicken piccata some of the best lasagna we've ever had.

Anthonino's is a unique Greek/Italian spot located in The Hill neighborhood outside St. Louis. They have a variety of menu options, and it was so hard to narrow it down to just a few choices for dinner! We started with a few appetizers, all of which were good - though the calamari stands out in my mind as the favorite. It was perfectly fried and tender. Next, I opted for the chicken pesto pasta as my entree. The chicken was nicely cooked and flavorful, and the pesto and goat cheese were a great combination in the pasta. The pasta itself was a little dry, but not so much that it ruined the dish. Service was friendly and prompt despite being busy with several large parties. Definitely a neat spot to check out if you're in the area!

This was our 1st time in. We had hoped to sit in the bar area because of its historic value, cool vibe and more fitting for two people having an early dinner. However, even though we were one of the very few initially seated in the large dining space it didn't take long for the space to fill up. Morgan took good care of us. Since we still had to get back on the road to KC we settled on sharing an appetizer and entree. We got the Toasted Ravioli (a must when in St Louis) and shared Lasagna & Italian bread. All was good and wished we could have also tried the Beef Braciole for something new. I guess we just have to come back. Maybe next time be able to sit outside on a beautiful day.

Did they invent toasted ravioli here? No idea but they were awesome. Dinner with coworkers and we had a fabulous time. Yes, we got two orders of the toasted raviolis to start. An order is six and yes, I ate my three with the fabulous marinara sauce. Perfection. I went with the cioppino for main course and it was only okay. Not much flavor in the broth and I thought it was a rather small portion. The garlic bread on the side was crunchy hard. Did not dip well at all. The meat lover's pizza is the thing to have. It looked and smelled amazing. A huge portion, almost enough for two to share. Nice crunchy crust, lots of toppings and great flavor. My mistake, I'll have this next time!
